The Renegades are a syndicate of prodigies—humans with extraordinary abilities—who emerged from the ruins of a crumbled society and established peace and order where chaos reigned. As champions of justice, they remain a symbol of hope and courage to everyone…except the villains they once overthrew.

Nova has a reason to hate the Renegades, and she is on a mission for vengeance. As she gets closer to her target, she meets Adrian, a Renegade boy who believes in justice—and in Nova. But Nova’s allegiance is to a villain who has the power to end them both.

Review: I absolutely adored this book! There were more than a couple flaws, but overall I really enjoyed it! If nothing more, it is an extremely fun read.

I had no idea what this book was about, but it vaguely reminded me of The Young Elites by Marie Lu. An elite society with a group of rebels with unusual powers. However, the similarities stop there. It is almost like reading a comic book, but better! The characters were a joy to read about, no matter how bad the beginning first was. I will warn you all, it starts out extremely cheesy with cliché superhero and supervillain sayings. But it does get so much better.

In the beginning, I was never going to stop reading but I did have to remind myself that I was not a fan of Cinder but ended up loving the series. Perhaps this series will be the exact same way.

Honestly, I can’t remember much of anything from this book, I just know that I loved it and it was a very good read. I got so into it that I read it in about two days, which is hard for a book to do to me nowadays.

Overall, this was a great book that I could not get enough of.

I give this novel 4/5 stars and would highly recommend it to fans of fantasy and comic books.
