November Wrap Up

November was a pretty good reading month for me, and I got through a lot of great books! They were all very enjoyable. The title and the cover will have links to my full review’s on each of the books. Let’s get started!

The Rose Society by Marie Lu

This book was incredible. It really impressed me, I never expected it to be this good. It was exactly what you would want out of a sequel.

Six of Crows by Leigh Bardugo

Six of Crows

This book really surprised me. While I enjoyed the Grisha trilogy by Leigh Bardugo, I was not a big fan of it, but I was a big fan of her writing. I delved into this book not knowing what it was even about, and came out loving it. This is one of my new favorites.

Life and Death by Stephenie Meyer

Life and Death

This was fun to read. It was a fresh, new view into Twilight, and I liked it. I do wish that Stephenie had originally written the gender’s like this though, it incorporates more humor into it, which makes it easier to read, and not as intense, in a good way.

Illuminae by Amie Kaufman and Jay Kristoff

This was also surprising. I had my doubts about this before I started it. I thought perhaps they put so much thought into the unusual format, that the plot and writing of this story would not be that great. I was completely wrong. This is one of the best science fiction novels I have ever read.

Cinder by Marissa Meyer

This is also one of the best science fiction series I have ever read. A fantasy sci-fi series following a cyborg? That is really cool, and brilliant. I loved this.

Scarlet by Marissa Meyer

This was even better than Cinder. It was very enjoyable, and I enjoyed a new character being added into the story.

Cress by Marissa Meyer

Each book of Marissa’s just keep getting better and better, and it keeps sucking me in further and further. This was definitely the best book in the Lunar Chronicles series

Ice Like Fire by Sara Raasch

I loved reading this. I have been anticipating this release for a while now, and it was great to finally get to read it. I enjoyed reading it a lot, and cannot wait for the final book to be released in this trilogy.

Have you read any of these/are reading any of these? Tell me what you thought in the comments!
