WWW Wednesday (October 28)

WWW Wednesday

Welcome to WWW Wednesday! This is a meme hosted by Sam over at Taking on a World of Words.

The three W’s are:

  1. What are you currently reading?
  2. What have you recently finished reading?
  3. What do you think you’ll read next?

To join in on the fun, just answer these three questions in a post, and Comment the link to that post over at Taking on a World of Words.

What I’m currently reading:

Carry On Carry On by Rainbow Rowell

I was very excited to read this one, as Rainbow Rowell is one of my absolute favorite authors, and I loved her book Fangirl. It is so interesting to read the book that Cath, the main character in Fangirl, found herself so immersed into, that she wrote fanfiction about it! It has a Harry Potter vibe too it, but it is so much different than J.K. Rowlings writing. I had high expectations for this book, and so far, it is meeting them all!

What I recently finished reading:

Snow Like Ashes Snow Like Ashes by Sara Raasch

I have already read this book once, and it was amazing. Ice Like Fire, the sequel to Snow Like Ashes, was released recently and I felt like I should reread the first before continuing on into the next, just to sharpen up my memory. It was just as fantastic as I remembered, and you can read my book review for it by clicking here.

What do I think I’ll read next:

Ice Like Fire Ice Like Fire by Sara Raasch

This novel is currently sitting on my bookshelf haunting me to open it up and devour the pages, but I had to read Carry On first. I am very excited to read this, although I have heard a lot of not-so-pleasant reviews about it. They weren’t really bad, just saying that it had middle book syndrome, which is terribly sad. I’m going to read it anyways though, and hope that my Mather doesn’t turn horrible in it.

Have you read any of these/are reading any of these? Tell me what you thought about them!

Glad you’re enjoying ‘Carry On!’ I hope to read that one soon because I also loved ‘Fangirl’ and I’m a big Potterhead myself. Happy reading and thanks for participating in WWW Wednesday!
